Great signs to place in various street locations
to drive traffic to your property! The sign
states "For Sale By Owner", and directs
either left or right.
The sign is made of 4mm Coroplast measuring
9" X 16", with a white background. Printing
is only on one side.

TIP:
We advise that all street signs be retrieved each evening to prevent loss. Many cities bylaws will prohibit street signs in some places, but if they are retrieved and placed again later it is likely that the city will not remove it. Municipal governments do not care for the signs many people post and never bother to remove once they are done (ie. garage sale signs often are left). Call your city bylaw office and ask! As well, if placing a sign that is on another persons property, ask for permission. They may not like the display and remove it themselves! |

| Wire Sign Stands
Works well with both types of Directional
Signs above. The Yard Signs are too large
and may not stand up straight.
The stands are made of zinc coated steel
and will hold the signs approximately 2 feet
above the ground. Prongs will slide into the
corrugated channels of the signs, the
opposite prongs are easily pushed into the
ground by stepping on the cross wire.

| Yard Sign Tips |
- Place your sign near the front edge of your property.
- Have your sign elevated so it will be visible when vehicles are parked in front of it.
- View your sign from a passerby's position to ensure that no objects are blocking it, moving your sign a few feet one way or the other may make a difference.
- Do not use Coroplast signs printed on two sides, when a passerby views a two sided sign with the sun in line of sight, a two sided sign will become transparent and the printed words from both sides will mix together rendering the sign unreadable. (Our signs are printed on one side, place them back to back to make a two sided sign, the thickness of two of our signs together will prevent the sunlight shining through them).
- The first words and the largest lettering on your sign should state "For Sale By Owner", if it does not you are advertising something other than your property!
- Best colors for letters and numbers are black, dark blue or red. These colors will standout and be more readable providing you have a light colored background for your sign. Absolutely stay away from greens or browns, after all armies use these colors to become invisible for a good reason!
- Do not make your sign appear to much like a realtor sign, you will run the risk of having potential buyers (not reading the sign closely) believing that they can call any realtor and find your home on the MLS system. You need to standout and be noticed by having a sign that is not to be mistaken for a realtor!
- If your buying the standard hardware store sign (usually black background with orange/red lettering, a white box for your phone number), spend a few more dollars for decal digits for your phone number, probably available at the same store. Professionally made decals will be most readable and look cleaner! Do not try to write details about your property within the small white space, let buyers call you or pick up a facts sheet that you may have available to be taken.
