Home Improvements:
- New engineering septic tank and effluent-septic field.
- New oil hot water, with baseboard and in floor radiation. (Four zones, one for each bedroom), replaced oil tank lines and fittings and installed oil yeller spill system.
- New 100 Amp electrical panel and replaced all branch circuit wiring through out the house. Installed: wired in/battery backed up smoke detectors, split receptacles in the kitchen, outside and bathroom GFI, attic lights and closet lights in each bedroom.
- Dug up the complete foundation and replaced the weeping tile with PVC perforated pipe, class A gravel and foundation cloth. Sealed all the cracks and re-tarred complete foundation. Added gutter down spout drains to remove excess water from around the house.
- Installed a security system with six motion detectors.
- Installed telephone jacks in every room.
- Stripped old paint from cedar clap board siding resealed it and painted with latex.
- Replaced bathroom, installed insulation, vapor barrier, and fiber gypsum wall panels. Installed new tub complete with temperature regulating valve, toilet, sink, oak vanity, new light in tub and fan with eve vent. New underlay and cushion floor and in-floor heat.
- Replaced 80 percent of the windows with solid vinyl Atlantic windows.
- Installed two decks, front of the house (10 X 14) and back of the house (10 x 30) complete with steel French doors.
- Replaced the existing steel drain pipes with ABS. Removed all galvanized P-Traps closet.
- Installed attic access door with fold up ladder. Added a layer of fiberglass insulation to the attic.
- Added a laundry room adjacent to Kitchen
- Installed water filter/sterilizer.
- Installed an air purifier/air exchanger with heat recovery.
- Built a large steel boat storage building 30' wide by 50' long by 17.5' high. It has two large sliding steel doors with a combined opening of 16' wide by 15.5' high. There is also a standard man door. The building is on a concrete engineered slab with lots of extra reinforcing steel. This building is partially wired. ( Excellent Boat Storage Building)
