The slope of the land is steep but not impassable. It is high ground and it is possible to build a cabin facing due south for un-interrupted sunlight. The building sites and trails will have to be brushed out but you will end up with a cabin up high, with a gorgeous view overlooking the lake and thousands of acres of untouched forest.

Access at this time is by boat, snow machine or airplane. There is an old road running behind the property that could be extended also with MNR approval.

There are cottages on the south side of the lake and some on the north side also, although they are miles from this secluded property.

Access to the lake is by a good all-season road and the landing will accommodate any craft. It is only about 10 minutes to the land by boat.

The property is just east of Quetico Park and there are tons of other lakes in the immediate area with millions of acres of Government land in the surrounding area. For example, you can be hunting or fishing on Lac Des Mille Lacs (or any other of the hundreds of lakes in the area) in less than an hour from this land.
