It is noteworthy that these 56 acres adjoin a wilderness area of hundreds of acres that are uninhabited, with ponds, streams, marshes and forests. You can take a rowboat ride from the 8 acre private lake to the Tay River via the same stream that feeds the ponds and flows through the property from Little Silver Lake. Lots of deer, grouse, waterfoul, turkey and the other usual animals.

House - Interior of house has pine walls and ceiling. Large living room and large kitchen/dining room. Two bedrooms upstairs with third bedroom downstairs. One and ˝ bath, upstairs is full bath and down stairs has a shower. Heated 90% with wood stove and 10% with gas furnace, this ratio at owner’s option.

Living room has berber carpet and a free standing Franklin wood burning stove; this stove is little used since down stairs provides sufficient heat. Double sliding doors lead out onto the upper part of deck.

Second Bedroom/Office has closet and hardwood floors.

Down stairs/Extra Bedroom/Den area has a room that includes an upper level with room for a bed. This area is used as an extra bedroom. The lower level has tile floor. Sugar Shack is a working sugar shack with sitting room in front and all equipment to operate. Dirt floors for easy clean-up. Great place to make that home made maple syrup in the spring. Out side is a running creek and plenty of maple trees to tap.

Private Lake – is about 8 acres and has good fishing and lots of waterfowl. This lake is part of the creek that runs from Little Silver Lake and flows into the Tay River.
