The local man who pumps the tank annually says the double tank is in excellent condition. A new sewer pump and line was set in the gray water tank in May 2005. The house water can be set to draw from the bored well (water tests confirm it is safe for human consumption), or the 2500 gallon cistern set-up in the heated/insulated “cistern” room located in the garage building beside the house. A new pump and pressure tank have been installed. Water delivery is available in this area. The bored well supplies water to the hydrant inside the shop/barn; the hydrant located between the 2 large paddocks south of the shop/barn; the future stock waterer where the water line and power line have been brought up to ground level inside a plastic riser; and the outdoor faucet at the garage. The main shop has two man doors leading to each of the bays. The back 10’ of each bay is set-up as an animal shelter, accessible from the 2 rail corrals on the backside of the shop/barn. A man door from the south bay leads into the barn which is 24’ wide 40’ deep and has a locking/sliding door 10’ wide and 10’ high. This building is set at the top of the horseshoe driveway and provides more than enough storage space for horse trailers, RV’s, farm equipment, etc.Rolling Hills Ranch is a beautiful corner of God’s creation. Native grass full of crocuses still grows on the west side of the quarter. There is a perfect balance of open pasture and trees that provides grazing and shelter for horses, cows and wild game. Both coniferous and deciduous trees flourish. The two dugouts on the land provide generously for stock and the multitude of game in the area. The perimeter and cross fences are in good condition.
